The method involves monitoring the tire pressure of a vehicle (1) in which tire data and parameters of a tire (15) of a wheel (11a-11d) are transferred as a unique identifier with a slave module (17a, 17b). The data transferred to the slave module is evaluated for relevance and relevant information is transferred to a master module (12). The master module (12) uses an output unit. The slave module (17a, 17b) is managed and configured on the master module (12). An independent claim is included for an arrangement for monitoring tire pressure of a vehicle.
