Electrically-conductive textile threads (4) are inserted or pressed into the green tire tread or the green, tread capping (2). They are inserted as a V-shape, so that the free ends are at the outer surface of the tread (1). The threads comprise carbon fibers. They are monofilaments, threads or cords. The threads are inserted into the non-vulcanized thread, leaving their ends projecting from the tread surface. They are pressed into the raw tread rubber, using a wedge-, conically- or rod-shaped plunger (5).
