The disk washing unit has a washing roll, where the washing roll is mounted on a role axle (2) in a rotating manner. A safety device (5) is arranged at a rolling frame (4), and is mounted in a layer which runs orthogonally to the role axle in a relocatable or tiltable manner. An axial movement of the fastener (3) is blocked from the roll axle in a operating position of the safety device. An independent claim is also included for a method for constructing washing rolls of a disk washing unit.
