Mineral granules useful as pet litter, constructional filling materials and binders for oil and/or chemicals comprise agglomerated porous calcium silicate hydrate particles

Mineral granules comprising agglomerated porous calcium silicate hydrate particles, having a bulk density of less than 750 g/l, and comprising 30-100 wt.% of granules with a particle size below 100 mu m, are new. An independent claim is also included for producing granules as above by mixing a calcium silicate hydrate powder and optionally calcium silicate hydrate granules with water in a pelletizer, or mixing the powder with water and then adding the granules, and then removing and drying the granules.
