The helmet has a visor (1) tiltably arranged at a helmet shell, where the visor has an outer visor plate (2). A heatable inner visor plate (3) is provided in the area of the inner side of the outer visor plate. The inner visor plate has two transparent outer foils spaced apart from each other. Heating wires (6) are arranged between the transparent outer foils, where the heating wires are formed by meander-shaped heating wire or other heating wires. A seal is provided between the inner and outer visor plates and/or along the edge of the inner visor plate.
