The device has stationary transceivers (3) with position coordinates that are arranged in or at a building (2) i.e. multi-storey building and a camera (1) with a measuring device. The measuring device has a number of camera transceivers and is implemented to determine a position of the camera based on run time of transceiver signals. The transceivers successively transmit and receive transceiver signals. The position, alignment, inclination and/or tilting of the camera (1) are determined, where the transceiver signals are transmitted in determined time intervals.
