The fuel injection valve has a longitudinal axis (8), with an actuator, with a movable valve part, which acts together with a fixed valve seat for opening and closing of the valve. The valve is formed on a valve seat element (26), and with an atomizing disc (30) arranged downstream to the valve seat. A lower discharge level is formed, in which a slit-shaped outlet opening is directly joined downstream to the wall of the opening area. The outlet opening runs in diagonally inclined manner.
