The method involves providing a vehicle (1) with two wheels (2, 3), where each of the wheels has a transmitter (5, 6). Signals are periodically transmitted by the transmitters, and the transmitted signals are received and evaluated at a vehicle side by a receiver (4). An indicating signal is generated based on the evaluation of the received signals, where the indication signal indicates whether one of the wheels is removed from the vehicle. Inclination sensors (7, 8) are provided within the wheels, respectively, where the sensors determine an inclination angle of the respective wheel. An independent claim is also included for an information system in or for a vehicle.
