The cage has multiple cage segments (S) combined to a circular body over two support rings (1, 2). The cage segments are implemented as plate transforming parts, and are respectively provided with retaining structures for retaining an circumferential section of the respective support rings. The retaining structures are designed as groove sections. A material connection is managed over welded joints, where the welded joints are implemented as laser welded joints. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a roller bearing comprising rolling members provided between bearing rings, and a window cage (2) a method for manufacturing a window cage.
