The module has two silicon cells e.g. thyristors, fixed between two conductive copper bus bars (1) through a press-contact/press-bonding. The bus bars have two slots (2) in middle area, which lies between areas of contact with the silicon cells. The slots run from opposite sides of the bus bars in a direction towards the respective sides up to a center between the sides. The slots are arranged in parallel such that remaining parts of the bus bars form a partition wall (3) between the slots.
