Ball casters (5) each have two side surfaces (6,7) flattened symmetrically with a basic ball shape and fitted parallel to each other. They roll away with their running surfaces (8) onto groove-shaped tracks (11,12) built into the inner side (9) of an outer bearing ring (2) and into the outer side (10) of an inner bearing ring (3). An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a rolling body for a ball caster bearing.
