The arrangement has a pressure pilot valve (25) for influencing a switching position of a main valve (24) to produce a fluid pressure pilot signal. The pressure pilot signal is pressurized to an operating surface of the main valve to switch the main valve from a basic position into a soft start position. A shifting valve (26) is operatable by a secondary pressure dominant in a secondary channel and applies a fluid pressure pilot signal of another operating surface of the main valve with a predetermined level of the secondary pressure.
