The vehicle has two wheels assigned to an axle, particularly a rear axle. The axle has a separate wheel suspension (1) with a tie rod (2), which is designed as a length variable element. The length-variable element is designed in a lifting cylinder, particularly an electromechanical lifting cylinder. The length of the length-variable element, depending on a groove angle of the assigned wheel, is adjusted. The tie rod is rigidly designed, where tie rod fulcrums (A,B) are arranged in a guidance device, so that the fulcrums are adjusted by the guidance device. An independent claim is also included for a method for active adjustment of a groove angle of a vehicle wheel.
