Heat exchangers (E1,E2,E3) individually assigned to cooling chambers (A,B,C) are individually connected to supply lines (1,2,3) linked to a single liquefied gas storage container (S). Phase disconnecting switches are not disposed upstream of the heat exchangers, allowing for series or parallel connection of the heat exchangers with the storage container. An independent claim is also included for a method for cooling one or more cooling chambers using liquefied gas.
