The test set for the detection of specific nucleic acid sequences, comprises a probe carrier plate (10) having a probe reaction surface (11), a sample carrier plate (20), which has a sample reaction surface (21) and which is placed on the probe carrier plate, and a container with a probe composition (15). The probe/sample reaction surface is formed and coated so that the probe/sample composition is appliable on the surface. The sample nucleic acid sequences in the composition are immobilizable on the sample reaction surface. The test set for the detection of specific nucleic acid sequences, comprises a probe carrier plate (10) having a probe reaction surface (11), a sample carrier plate (20), which has a sample reaction surface (21) and which is placed on the probe carrier plate, and a container with a probe composition (15). The probe/sample reaction surface is formed and coated so that the probe/sample composition is appliable on the surface. The sample nucleic acid sequences in the composition are immobilizable on the sample reaction surface. The probe composition applied on the reaction surfaces is gel-like at room temperature. The probe- and sample reaction surfaces are arranged oppositely under formation of a pair of reaction surfaces (50), in such a manner that a pre-defined distance is present between the probe reaction surface and the arranged sample reaction surface. The probe- and the sample carrier plate have sealants, which in plug-in position are arranged on the pair of reaction surfaces. An independent claim is included for a procedure for the detection of specific nucleic acid sequences.
