The device (1) has fixed circular rollers (12a, 12b) for moving stick-shaped articles (4) e.g. cigratte, to a transferring area towards its longitudinal axis. The circular rollers come in direct contact with the articles in the transferring area, where the rollers have cylindrical peripheral surfaces (12c, 12d). The rollers are coaxially connected with other rollers (12g, 12h) in a torque-proof manner, where the latter rollers are driven by a circular conveyor (2).
