The valve (1) has a spring loaded sealing body (4) movable along a direction, and a sealing surface (14) provided at the body and/or at a sealing collar at an inner mantle surface, where the sealing surface is perpendicular to the direction. A separate elastic ring sealant (13) is provided for sealing between the body and the mantle surface. The sealant has a circular cross-sectional shape in an unloaded condition, such that a linear shaped attachment results between sides of the sealant and the sealing surface in the unloaded condition. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a locking screw, in particular for a transmission, in particular an electric motor transmission (2) a method for ventilation with a venting valve.
