The stone has a hollow space (2) extending through its entire height and spaced by a broadside (3) of the stone around a side wall thickness. Hollow space length is 20 millimeters (mm), and the hollow space on a section is essentially transverse to a height (H) of the stone. Thickness of central material bar corresponds to double side wall strength, and longitudinal sides of the building stone centrally comprise a vertical circumferential groove. An independent claim is also included for a method for constructing a non-supporting inner wall.
