The seat (1) has a form-stable body (2) and a flexible plastic covering (3), which forms a waterproof cover. A plane upper side which serves as a seat surface (4), is provided with a unit for preventing slipping at a contact area (5). The body is made of a hard foam material e.g. polyurethane or polystyrene. A base plate is arranged and/or inserted at or proximate to a lower side of the body. The plate is made of a material with higher specific weight than the material of the body. A layer made of a soft foam material, is arranged at the upper side of the body.
