The method involves exposing pre-set number of image lines (L1a, L1b, L2a, L2b, L3a) of an image sensor (4) due to a trigger signal (7). An image information of one of the exposed lines and the following lines are displayed successively. External trigger signals (5) are counted, and one of the external trigger signal is provided as the trigger signal, where the trigger signal releases exposure of the lines when the number of counted external trigger signals correspond to the number of lines, which are exposed due to the preceded trigger signal.
