The system (3) has a transmitter i.e. laser diode (2), and a receiver for transmitting and receiving electromagnetic waves (2.1), respectively. The transmitter transmits selectively two different wavelengths, where the receiver is tunable on the respective wavelength. The wavelength of the transmitted electromagnetic waves is changeable by the transmitter. The receiver exhibits a reflector component, where the wavelength of the received electromagnetic waves is changeable by the reflector component.
