The chassis (1) has a rear wall (2) comprising a fastening device for an extension card, where the fastening device is formed by a support bracket (6), an opening (4) and a sheet bracket. The sheet bracket covers the opening and has a plug-in tongue with a cranked section that lies at the rear wall. The plug-in tongue has spring units, and a thrust bearing receiving the force of the spring units is arranged in an area of an upper edge of the opening and the cranked section, such that the sheet bracket does not receive the pressure of the spring units.
