The prime mover has a drive section, which intermediates a guide on an eccentricity (6), describing a path around a rotation center (7), which is characterized by a complete flow of eccentricity and movement of piston (2), which is subjected with a load between an upper dead center and a lower dead center. Significant and relatively different geometrically formed path segments (8a, 8b) are provided by the process flow. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating the prime mover for conducting and/or influencing process characteristics of medium, substance and/or elements.
