The stand has a standpipe fastened at a stand base (14), and a body (5) arranged over the standpipe, where the stand is made of wooden material such as melamine resin coated chipboard, acrylic glass, metal or plastic. The body is connected with a support base plate and a hard wooden dowel, and an upper guide plate and a lower guide plate are provided, where the plates form a unit. The body has retaining slots for an article carrier (8), and an easily exchangeable acrylic glass mirror (11) is arranged in a U-shaped profile (12) and an L-shaped profile (13) in an upper area of the body.
