The device has a driving pedal (2) and a full load indicator (3) that can be actuated by the pedal. A push button is provided with a wedge shaped designed area, with which the push button can be slided into the spring clip via one of resting noses at a free end of the spring clip with an impact that spreads on the spring clip in a spring force increasing manner, after opening of a resting lock that is caused by the force of the pedals. The spring clip receives the function of a return spring unit in the spreading condition.
