The device (1) has a retaining plate (2) made of plastic. An opening (6) for inserting a connecting piece and a guidance unit for a connection plate (3) that is pivoted at the retaining plate are provided at opposite sides on the retaining plate. The connection plate has a passage hole (8) aligned with the opening and a connection section (10) covering the opening. The connection plate is made of a material such as paperboard, different from that of the retaining plate, and has a smaller thickness than the retaining plate. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a filter bag with a fastening device.
