The device has a linear generator (18) for producing irregular voltage pulse and including an outlet at which the voltage pulse is output. An inverter (54) has an inlet and an outlet, where the outlet of the generator is directly coupled to the inlet of the inverter. The outlet of the inverter is coupled to a power supply network. The inverter converts the voltage pulse into an alternating voltage for feeding into the power supply network. The voltage pulse is longer than a reciprocal value of the frequency at the power supply network. An independent claim is also included for a system for producing an electrical line.
