The buffer stop (1) comprises a stop element and a housing element (2), where the stop element is guided in height-adjusting manner in the housing element by a screw connection (5). The stop element has a threaded sleeve (3) and a buffer element (4). A surface which has a micro-encapsulated adhesive is in contact with the other height-adjustment surface of the sleeve and the buffer element. The buffer element and the threaded sleeve have a micro grating (6), which work together and enables a stepped height-adjustment of a buffer element in the sleeve in the space of the micro grating.
