The belt tensioning pulley is mounted on an eccentric. The eccentric is formed by an eccentric wheel (15) mounted in a part of the casing (2). A fixing device holds the eccentric wheel (15) in a fixed position relative to the casing. The belt-tensioning pulley (20) is carried by its shaft (19), which runs in a bearing mounted on the eccentric wheel. To fix the eccentric wheel, a locking rod (25) is employed. This is introduced through an opening (24) of the casing, into an axial holding opening of the pulley shaft (19). It fixes the wheel shaft to the casing section.
