A plastic liquid container (1) of flexible plastic material is prepared as follows: First, a plastic composition of a heterogeneous mixture of a first, low-viscosity raw polymer portion having a first melt viscosity and a second, higher-viscosity raw polymer portion having a second melt viscosity greater than the first melt viscosity, prepared. The plastic mass is then extruded. The extrudate is made up. The preformed extrudate is finally closed to the finished liquid container (1). As an intermediate for the medical container, a film tube (2) can serve. The manufactured medical container or film tube produced has surface structures (5) with a typical average size of 15 to 200 μm. The manufacturing process has a low cost, while meeting demanding requirements for the stability of the liquid container produced.
