The device gradually moves a pallet to a height (H) with the overall height (H') being resettable. A first batch (1) is moved by a horizontal conveyor (2) under the control of a pallet control station (3). An elimination station (4) is provided which interacts with the control station to remove and shift (6) the pallets.
