The piston has a piston cover in which a 5-25mu m thick Platinum-Iron free coating of varnish on polymer base is applied with a solid lubricant. The varnish coating has 16-75 wt. %, particularly 30-50 wt. % fiber portion of carbon or aramid fibers. The polymer base of varnish coating is formed of polyamide-imide (PAI) or epoxy resin. The solid lubricant contains 5-25 wt. %, particularly 5-15 wt. % zinc sulfide and 5-25 wt. %, particularly 5-15 wt. % graphite or molybdenumdisulphide with 5-15 wt. % titanium dioxide in varnish coating. The piston is made of aluminum alloy.
