Identity of a current driver is detected during, before or after the start-up of a vehicle and information is made available for delivery to the driver by relying on the current driver and stored history of information delivered for each driver. Type and repetition rate for making information available is determined by relying on a break period in a journey. Information is made available to each driver by relying on the time that has passed by since this information was last made available to this driver.
