The plate-shaped photovoltaic solar module (1) has frame made of molded profiles. An inserting corner connecting piece (5) overlaps in the corner area of a cover side of the plate-shaped photovoltaic solar module. A molded profile (7) does not overlap side edges of the plate-shaped photovoltaic solar module. The side edge or the molded profiles not overlapping the side edges are fixed flush or with short length to overlap a rear side of the plate-shaped photovoltaic solar module.
