The thin section solar module has different cell types (C1,C2) which deliver different electric voltage and current at even homogenous radiation of the module, and at operation near the maximum power point. The sub-group voltage and the number of elements in the sub-groups are so selected that cells belonging to a sub-group in series connection reaches a specific voltage. All the cells belonging to sub-group are connected in series and reach a specific sub-group voltage, where all sub-groups belonging to a group are connected in parallel. An independent claim is also included for a method of improving the efficiency of thin solar module.
