The method involves providing an authentication device assigned to a member in an environment (100) for authentication of the member. External chip card reading device is assigned to another member in another environment (200) for reading and/or writing of a chip card i.e. health card, assigned to the latter member. A connection between the devices is established, where data is transmitted between the devices via the connection. The authentication device additionally comprises a chip card reading unit for reading of the chip card assigned to the latter member. An independent claim is also included for a computer program product for secure communication between two members.
