The application relates to cosmetic and dermatological oil-in-water emulsions, the selected emulsifiers, fatty acid alkyl esters, glycols and thickening agents, optionally together with antioxidants, in a balanced weight ratio to each other, so they even without the addition of conventional preservatives sufficient preservation, so to speak "self-preserving properties" exhibit.
