The sleeve has contact boxes connected to an electrical cable. Contact bases (150) cooperate with the contact boxes such that a contact blade of an electrical connector is clamped between the contact boxes and the contact bases. Contact springs (145) are provided in the contact boxes such that the contact blade is electrically contacted by the contact springs in an insertion position of the sleeve on the electrical connector. The contact springs are designed as contact segments fastened at longitudinal ends (146, 147) and supported at the longitudinal ends in support plates (132).
