Polymerization catalyst, which is to be prepared by bringing into contact with one another by (a) a transition metal compound, (b) a fixed boron compound, which an ion pair with the component (a) can form, (c) an organoaluminum compound and (d) one or two or more types of compounds selected from an α - olefin, an internal olefin and a polyene.
