The procedure for the production of a diesel particle filter (1), comprises extruding a ceramic raw material to form a formed honeycomb body (10) with cells (12), which are subdivided by porous partition walls (11), which are arranged in a honeycomb structural form, drying and burning the honeycomb body, and closing an end part of each cell on each end surface of the honeycomb body with slurry in a checker before or during the burning process to form a stopper (13). A downstream end of each cells and an upstream end of each cells, which forms a discharge passage, are clogged by the stopper. The procedure for the production of a diesel particle filter (1), comprises extruding a ceramic raw material to form a formed honeycomb body (10) with cells (12), which are subdivided by porous partition walls (11), which are arranged in a honeycomb structural form, drying and burning the honeycomb body, and closing an end part of each cell on each end surface of the honeycomb body with slurry in a checker before or during the burning process to form a stopper (13). A downstream end of each cell, which forms an introduction passage, through which exhaust gas is introduced, and an upstream end of each cell, which forms a discharge passage, by which the exhaust gas is discharged to the exterior of the filter, are clogged by the stopper.
