The connecting element (11) has an outer pipe and inner pipe (3). A mounting device is provided for mounting at the inner pipe of a construction support. Another mounting device (14) is provided for mounting a bracing (7), which is provided in axial direction of the construction support corresponding to a mounting device at the outer pipe construction support for the bracing. The mounting device of the connecting element and the mounting device have the equal radial distance from the axis of the construction support at the outer pipe of the construction support. An independent claim is also included for a telescopic building support with an external pipe.
