The device has an exhaust device for measuring raw gas. A filter and/or screening device (7) separates dust particle from carrier gas. The exhaust device includes a root blower (1) whose rotor axis direction (X) transverse to a longitudinal direction (Y) of reel, web, sheet or plate goods (3) is arranged with a linear inlet (2). The blower is connected at an outlet side with the device (7), which runs parallel to the direction (X). A partial flow of the carrier gas added with the dust particle and separated by a clean gas recirculation is transferred from an interior space of a conveyor system. An independent claim is also included for a method for removing dust in a conveyor system for processing and/or treating laminar products.
