The cover (10) has a reinforcement element that is connected with the cover and arranged outside the cover, where predominant part of the cover is made of plastic and is connected with a body (4) of a motor vehicle (2). The reinforcement element is made of a material e.g. spring steel, having higher rigidity than plastic. The reinforcement element and the cover are connected with the body by a screw, at a common connecting point. The reinforcement element is connected with the cover by a rivet at another connecting point, and runs in longitudinal or transverse direction of the vehicle.
