The bevel friction ring gear, with at least two spaced apart friction cones (2,3) and a friction ring (4) arranged in the space (5) and movable along friction surfaces (10,11), has the axial variation of the friction surface having a radius in excess of 0.1 mm, preferably in excess of 1 mm, in at least two convex regions, and a radius in excess of 0.01 mm, preferably in excess of 0.05 mm, in at least two concave regions. The convex regions are arranged between two ends of a friction cone.
