The device has force-transmitting tension-pressurizing units (20, 22) hinged to exhaust flaps for initiation of rotation movement, and a coupling device for conversion of a drive-sided rotation movement into translation movements affecting the tension-pressurizing units. The coupling device is provided between an electric motorized drive unit (10) and the tension-pressurizing units. An adjusting unit e.g. screw spindle (12), is made of plastic, and supporting bushings (32, 34) has two half shells that are made of plastic. Left and right threads are arranged on the drive unit.
