The supported noble metal catalyst comprises a porous substrate loaded with noble metal particles and a zeolite material loaded with an iron oxide. The iron oxide is an ferric oxide or ferrous oxide. The iron oxide is present in individual form or in coating form. The portion of the iron oxide loaded zeolite material is 1-30%, prferably 3-10%.
