The device has a pressing piston (2) guided in an operating cylinder (1), where pressing goods are pressed in the operating cylinder by a sievelike grist device (3) and a separating device (4). The separating device has a conical or wedge-shaped displacement cylinder (7) provided in pressing direction, where the displacement cylinder is arranged in a fixed manner and is movable in the pressing direction against force of a spring (8) e.g. disc spring, or a spring rod. The grist device is connected with the displacement cylinder.
