The device has a locating device for locating asparagus seaweeds and a producing system for producing the asparagus seaweeds from ground (4). The producing system exhibits an oblong hollow body i.e. hollow cylinder, with a cross section that is larger than a diameter of the asparagus seaweeds, and a cutting unit is assigned to its free ends. The hollow body can be opened for the release of its contents. A holding element for holding the asparagus seaweeds is assigned to the hollow body. A filter section is assigned to the hollow body, on which the contents are guidable.
