The device has a gripping tool (2) including gripping units (2a, 2b) partially surrounding a base and an inner area (21) of the tool. The base is interfused by a borehole that stays in connection with the inner side of the housing and with the inner side of the tool. The units are movable between closing and expansion positions, where the units lie together in the closing position. The units are movable in the expansion position with a help of an expansion device, where the units are loaded by a spring unit i.e. O-ring, in a closing direction.
