The padding (1) is complementarily reproduced from the anatomy of a foot bed (3), and partially occupies the bunion in a region (6) of an inward boundary of the bunion. An edge is bend resistant, rises from the foot bed and is formed in the form of a holder (7). The padding is made of a base material e.g. elastomer, thermoplastic polymer or copolymer, and low-temperature thermoplastic such as polyethylene, copolymer of polyethylene and PVC, or copolymer of polyethylene and polystyrene, that is processable in a low-temperature process.
